Abhogi
Indian Classical Raga
Abhogi is a pentatonic (audava) janya raga of the 22nd melakarta Kharaharapriya in Carnatic music, omitting panchamam and nishadam. The same note set can also be derived from Gourimanohari by dropping panchamam and nishadam, and applying graha bhedam to Abhogi's notes yields the raga Valaji. It is used for compositions set at a medium to fast tempo.
