Amrtavarsini

Amritavarshini is a janya raga in Carnatic music, derived from the 66th melakarta raga Chitrambari. It is an audava (pentatonic) raga using five swaras, omitting rishabham and dhaivatam. It is closely associated with rain and is sung during the monsoon.
