Asaveri
Indian Classical Raga
Asaveri is a janya raga of the 8th melakarta Hanumatodi. It is an asymmetric bhashanga raga, using notes foreign to the parent scale in its vakra (zigzag) avarohanam. It is documented in the ancient text Sangita Ratnakara and resembles Komal Asavari and Asa Todi of Hindustani music.
