Gambhiranata

Gambhiranata is a pentatonic janya raga in Carnatic music, also known as Shuddha Nata. It omits the notes rishabham and dhaivatam. It is used widely in the nadasvaram and temple music traditions. Sources state it can portray the vira and adbhuta rasas.
