Gauri

Indian Classical Raga

Gauri is a Hindustani raga of the Bhairav family, closely related to Kalingada and Ramkali. It is a poorvaang-pradhana raga performed at dusk. It has multiple versions, including Bhairav, Poorvi and Marwa ang forms. It has roots in the Sikh tradition and appears in the Guru Granth Sahib.
