Nisadam
Indian Classical Raga
Nishadam is the name of the 60th melakarta raga in the Muthuswami Dikshitar (asampurna mela) school; the same raga is called Nitimati in the modern 72-melakarta system. It is a sampurna raga with all seven notes in ascent and descent. Tyagaraja's kriti Vacham Gochara is composed in this raga.
