Rupavati

Rupavati is a raga in Carnatic music and the 12th melakarta (parent scale) in the 72-melakarta system; its name means 'the beautiful one'. As a melakarta it is a sampurna raga, using all seven notes in ascent and descent. It is the shuddha madhyamam equivalent of Divyamani, the 48th melakarta.
