Simhendramadhyamam, called Sumadyuti in the Muthuswami Dikshitar tradition, is a raga in Carnatic music. It is the 57th melakarta raga in the 72 melakarta system, belonging to the tenth chakra, Disi. Its scale is equivalent to the Hungarian minor (Gypsy minor) scale used in Western music, and it has also been adapted into Hindustani music.
