Vijayanagari
Indian Classical Raga
Vijayanagari is a janya raga of Dharmavati, the 59th melakarta, described as a nishada-varja Dharmavati scale. Sources state it evokes feelings of pathos, similar to Shivaranjani and Neelamani. It is said to have been created by Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar.
