Visvambhari (Vamsavati)

Vishwambhari, called Vamshavati in the Muthuswami Dikshitar tradition, is a raga in Carnatic music. It is the 54th melakarta raga in the 72 melakarta system and the sixth raga of the Brahma chakra. It is a sampoorna raga, containing all seven swaras in both the ascending and descending scales, and is rarely performed in concert.
