About
The Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma Foundation for Music, working jointly with Sri Krishna Sangeetha Sabha, is named for Carnatic mridangam vidwan Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, son of violinist and Bangalore University music faculty member Anoor R Ramakrishna. Sharma was honoured with the Academy of Music, Bengaluru's Chowdiah Award, presented at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. The foundation presents Carnatic concerts in Bengaluru, at times alongside partners such as the Samatva Foundation and Bangalore Gayana Samaja.
