About
This record combines Bengaluru's government Department of Horticulture with Heritage Beku, a citizen group of conservationists, lawyers, artists and other professionals working to protect the city's architectural and natural heritage. Heritage Beku formed after the 2016 Steel Flyover Beda campaign and the 2017 demolition of Krumbiegel Hall by the Department of Horticulture. The two now partner on The Revival Series, cultural performances staged at Cubbon Park and other heritage sites in the city.
