Makaranda Foundation is a registered trust that runs Makaranda, a concert hall in Navodaya Nagar, Bengaluru, created to host Carnatic music concerts, classes, workshops and lecture-demonstrations. It was launched around Vijayadashami, with Ganakalabhushana Vid. R. K. Padmanabha as chief guest at the launch, and it presents its own annual Makaranda Vaarshikothsava concert series.
