About
Shantala Arts Trust grew out of an institute of performing arts established in 1985 by Bharatanatyam exponent Prasanna Kasthuri (also known as Prasanna Kasturi) together with Pulikeshi Kasturi, and was registered as a trust in 2008. It is currently associated with Guru Pulikeshi and is based on Pulikeshi Road in Yeshwanthpura, Bengaluru. The trust runs a monthly concert series, Shantala Nritya Vaibhava, and has organised the multi-day Bengaluru International Classical Dance Festival at Sevasadan auditorium with international partners.
