About
Ragigudda Sri Prasanna Anjaneyaswamy Temple is a Hanuman shrine on a hillock in Jayanagar 9th Block, Bengaluru, founded by a group of youth in 1969 and registered in 1972. Built in the Dravidian style across five acres, it also houses shrines to Sita-Rama-Lakshmana, a Shivalinga, Ganesha, the Navagrahas and Rajarajeshwari. Its twelve-day Hanuman Jayanti draws about 35,000 pilgrims on the final day, and the complex runs a school, a health centre, a wedding hall and a goshala.
