O unworthy mind! How long can I put up with you, if you do not listen to my counsel! Follow my
advice.
Spend your time in singing the glory of Sri Rama with humility and devotion. He who is the jewel of
solar race.
In this Kaliyuga, instead of wasting time associating with men of sloth and lethargy and those who are
engaged fiercely in worldly activities all the time, you should adopt the pleasant way of devotion and
redeem yourself. You do not appear disposed to heed to the counsel of Tyagaraja!

devotion and redeem (“kadaterunu”) yourself. You do not appear disposed (“vadela”) to heed (“Vina”)
to the counsel (“maata”) of Tyagaraja!
