Bhimpalas
Indian Classical Raga
Bhimpalas is a janya raga of Kharaharapriya, the 22nd melakarta. Its arohanam omits rishabham and dhaivatam, making it an audava-sampoorna scale. It is the Carnatic counterpart of the Hindustani raga Bhimpalasi, which is performed in the afternoon.
