Kedara
Indian Classical Raga
Kedaram is a janya raga of the 29th melakarta Shankarabharanam in Carnatic music. It is a vakra audava-shadava raga, with five zigzag notes in the ascent and six in the descent. It carries veera (heroic) rasa and is considered a regal, commanding and auspicious raga. It is traditionally sung in the morning and is rarely performed with extensive elaboration.
