Rupavati
Indian Classical Raga
Rupavati is a raga in Carnatic music, its name meaning the beautiful one. It is the twelfth melakarta raga in the 72 melakarta system, in the Netra chakra. It is a sampurna raga, with all seven notes in both the ascending and descending scale. It is one of the few melakartas that kept the name Venkatamakhin originally gave it.
