Shree is an asampurna melakarta raga whose full form corresponds to Kharaharapriya, the 22nd melakarta. It is an audava-vakra-sampurna raga that omits gandharam and dhaivatam in ascent. It is the last of the five Ghana ragas of Carnatic music.
