Sri Ragam

Indian Classical Raga

Shri raga (also written Sri) is an ancient raga in the Carnatic tradition. It is the asampurna melakartha equivalent of Kharaharapriya, the 22nd melakarta raga, and takes the lower madhyamam. It is an audava-vakra-sampurna raga that uses no gandharam or dhaivatam in the ascending scale. It is the last of the five Ghana ragams of Carnatic music.
