Kalanidhi is a janya raga of the 22nd melakarta Kharaharapriya in Carnatic music. Its ascending scale opens with a vakra phrase (S R2 G2 M1 S) before continuing through panchamam, madhyamam, dhaivatam and nishadam; the descending scale is a straight line down. The Tyagaraja song cinna nADE is set in this raga.
